Meet the Owners!

 We have called East Lansing, Michigan our home for over 20+ years and live within walking distance to MSU's campus! We are close friends whose oldest  children are both away at college,  We became close friends while raising our children and substitute teaching in our neighborhood's elementary school.  Coincidentally, our two oldest children are both attending Purdue University in the fall and will be away from home for the first time!  The relationships we have built in East Lansing have led us to develop a love for the students in our community, and when we realized our oldest children would be away from us, we knew in our hearts we wanted to spend our time helping other college students feel connected to their new communities.  As moms ourselves, we  feel that bringing  your  student a "Hug From Home" in the form of a favorite treat, flower, or special gift, we will make them feel loved, comforted and supported while they are away from you.  We hope to give you peace of mind that they are being cared for!  We look  forward to meeting your student during your time here at MSU.
