The Heart Behind the Hug from Home

Welcome to Hugs from Home East Lansing!

What began as two local moms delivering treats with love is now just me, as my dear friend and partner has stepped away to spend more time with her family. I'm grateful for our journey and excited to continue celebrating you and your Spartans!

I have called East Lansing, Michigan "home" for over 20+ years and live within walking distance to MSU's campus! With one daughter away at college and another just beginning her journey at MSU, I understand the importance of feeling connected — and I want to help your Spartan feel right at home in their new community. As a mom myself, I feel that in bringing your student a "Hug from Home" in the form of a favorite treat, flower, or special gift, I will make them feel loved, comforted and supported while they are away from you. Sometimes, the photo I send of your student receiving their Hug from Home might be the only glimpse you get of them all semester!  College kids aren’t always great at sending updates, so I want to give you peace of mind that they are being cared for. I look forward to meeting your student during their time here at MSU!
